This is right next to my door, and the fragrance is lovely. After the crocus, this is the next thing to bloom in my yard.

Beautiful. As far as I know I've not seen this flower. Is it on a bush?

Yes, it is on a bush. I could take a picture of the whole bush and post it if you would like.
Paula, Daphne Odora is the name that my mil gave it, and I looked on some websites and it looks like the same flower. So, I think that is its name. I could ask the person who planted it. She and I are still in touch by email. :)
This is a beautiful flower. I don't think I have even seen one either.
I will have to do some research. Maybe it is only in this region? I thought all you flower lovers would know all about it. I have a friend who is a Master Gardener, and I will ask her more details about the plant.
