Corvallis Fall Festival 5K

This is our second year of doing the Corvallis Fall Festival 5K. This year, I could not run and had to walk the whole way. BOY, was Michael ever relieved to hear that since I usually make him run with me. :)
It was a beautiful day with my family. Part of our entry bag included a free Jamba Juice. So, we celebrated with juices after the 5K.

Thelma, center, teaches this class via the internet. She copied her 400 page syllabus for us to use too. These are the great kids in the class.
In fact, we are listening to her read Common Sense as I type this post!

Shine On Harvest Moon

Our family took an evening walk up to hospital hill. We had to turn back and get the tripod because this harvest moon was incredible! We had many forest fires that contributed to its color.
