Switching to another Carol 365 for 2011

If I want to slurp this blog into a book, I need one that isn't so big to slurp. So, here is my new blog web address. I hope you can follow again on this great adventure!

The New Computer's Camera

The New Computer's Camera, originally uploaded by carolfoasia.

I've never used this feature. I have never had a computer with a built in camera before. Is this how people make all these up to date photos of themselves on Facebook all the time? I am so out of it.

Excited for 2011

It has been great to take a year off of 365, but I really miss it. So, I am going to gather some friends and do it again. This time, I am going back to the original vision of 2007 and pick out a photo a day from all my pictures instead of just having 365 over the course of the year. It keeps me on top of things to do it every single day. I was a better photographer because of it.

I have a new D-90 camera for it too.

Still debating about whether I will just do it all on Flickr though. It is easier than transferring over to blogger, but I love the look of blogger. Still pondering that one. It would save me much more time to keep it at Flickr, and I can still do the daily journaling on Flickr too.

What do you think?

2010 - A Break

After three years of 365, I have decided to take a break for a while. My back cannot support carrying camera equipment around. So, I may be back later in the year, but I am not stressing about it. The photography has taken a back seat anyway as life has given way for other more necessary (and fun) things right now.

Be back before you know it!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!, originally uploaded by carolfoasia.

December 31

We forgot our camera, but we had a great time at Teala's sorority. We are thinking it is our 15th year (minus our two years overseas). We played games, shared highs and lows, and watched *Inn of the Sixth Happiness* before we watched the ball drop!

I got out for the first time in 11 days to go to a movie for Teala's birthday. Then, I got a call from George to say that I needed to come home. I came home to surprise fellowship, dessert, and crafts while I lay flat on my back on a heating pad. :)

Still not able to sit or stand for very long. I am also not to type because of my tennis elbow. So, I could do brief updates on Facebook through my Christmas present: the iPod Touch.
