As you can see, I skipped some picture days. I had a Day of Prayer and rest over Spring Break, and I didn't feel like taking pictures. So, I am doubling up this week because I took many more.

We do this two times a year. It is a great outreach to the southside of town. We help feed 100 kids. Here is Paul and George cooking.

While the "men" handled the grill and soup, we women cut copious amounts of fruit for three huge bowls of sald. Heidi and Aramis are so fun and also in the American Literature class we have at my house on Thursdays.

I spent last night and a good chunk of today doing taxes. When I was done, George asked me if I was ready for my reward! He had purchased this treat for me on Thursday night knowing that I would be working on them this weekend.

I was preparing for co-op teaching on the life of John Newton, but I put it all aside so we could have Austin and Monica over for a delightful lunch and four hours of talking about God's AMAZING GRACE in both of their lives. It was a delightful way to spend an afternoon. I wished i had taken a picture of them, but this will have to do!

Ester

I rode my bike to Melinda's for lunch and went to Ester's place at Stoneybrook for a few hours. We had a nice visit. She loves to look out the window at the birds on her feeder. No birds in this shot, but I thought it was a nice composition.

Spring is almost upon us. This bloomed but was beaten down by the rain, hail, and snow. Now, it is making another heroic attempt to strain toward the sunshine.

Teenager Tea Time

This afternoon, Paul was typing his paper, and I was listening to my Bible on DVD. He was looking poorly, and I wasn't feeling so chipper either. So, I asked him, "Would you like some tea?" He said, "SURE!"

We used to have regular "tea times" when he was smaller, but we haven't done it for quite a long time. It was lovely. (except he didn't want his picture taken since he is a teenager now)

Dinosaur of the Music Age

I wasn't too long ago I used list to music on this as I ran. It had the "anti-shock" protection technology that kept the CD's from skipping. Michael tried to get it to work, but it doesn't anymore. So, we are getting rid of it, but I had to take a picture of it before I did.
