Books for the Shut In

We have been doing this every other Wednesday for about four years now. This particular patron has many health problems that prevent her from going to the library. So, we bring the books to her along with some flowers. She loves this because she used to be a florist. She will read both these bags of books in just two weeks!
BTW, this is oldest ds's 15th birthday today. It was a good way to spend it.

Hey Carol, I really like your pictures! The sunrises are beautiful, the hike pics interesting, etc. But what I really love is the way you integrate your life's people, and a bit of their stories. It's fun to read and visit so many facets of your life.

I love what you wrote about your dad. I lost my dad 12 years ago. I remember wondering how the world could go on - daddy was gone. As I watch my children and grandchildren grow, I just know he would have LOVED being a great-grandfather - he always loved being a grandpa! I don't think I will ever stop missing him.

Thanks for sharing your story!

This is such a great photo of your boys. Happy birthday to your oldest ds! 15! I was just realizing that he is forever locked in my mind at 11.

Weird how our kids grow up.

We both have 15 year old sons. YAY
I want to drive down that path in your photo. Beautiful surroundings.

I know this lady is blessed to have the three of you visiting regularly.
