Susanne invited us to come to her literary group's "field trip" to Balboa Park's Old Globe Theatre for a viewing of Shakespeare's amazing "problem play," Measure for Measure.
George and I went early and toured the San Diego Museum of Art (for free!) and their Giverny Impressionists Exhibit (heavenly), ate a picnic dinner while listening to Barber Shop, and walked the park admiring the buildings that SUSANNE's great grandfather designed (Was it great grand Susanne?). After this, we met up with Susanne's crew to see the FABULOUS production! George and I even stayed afterward to hear the actors talk about the play. It was simply AMAZING.
What an evening to remember!

Hi, Carol! Sounds like you are having a great time! I didn't know you had a San Diego-area past.... John and I were married in Balboa Park, and we have old friends from our Marine Corps days who settled in Fallbrook.
