It is the four year anniversary of moving into this home (actually, we got the keys on Valentine's Day, but the BIG move was the day after). So, I am celebrating by posting a picture of a part our home!
This is the view from my computer area off the kitchen into the dining room/living room area. We home school on the couches.

Looks comfy. What do you use the little desk in the corner for? I love that kind of desk. I like the big windows - lets in lots of sunshine. :)
I would like to write my letters there, but I just got the chair. So, I am still not used to having that as an option for my letter writing!
Hmmm... apparently I replied on flickr because I clicked on the picture. I am looking forward to the tour. And it's hard to believe it's been four years. I remember when you moved. I like the red tablecloth with the balloon!
Becky, I have looked all over for a tablecloth for my winter months, and I think that I have found it! It isn't a "Christmas" tablecloth.
What a lovely room!
I look forward to seeing more of your home. Like Becky, i can't believe four years have already passed. Your home looks very warm and inviting. When do we get to have a retreat there?
I am up for having a retreat here in 2008, but I am afraid no one would come all the way to the West coast! I would love for you all to come. I wish I could go to NC. I am sad, but it won't work with all that is happening right now. :(
Carol, we HAVE to do a West Coast retreat! People owe it to us to finally come this direction. ;-) I just can't believe it's been four years since you moved. Time flies...
I think we may have the same couch and love seat. :-) It doesn't seem like it's been four years since moved! Comfy room you have there.

It's the template on blogger that you are using. The horizontal pics from flickr when uploaded through flickr cut off part of the right side of the phot when you use a standard template. If you pick one of the wide margin ones, you'll get the whole pic (hence, my blog template). I read this in Google Reader first, though, and the entire pic shows there just fine. :)
Gorgeous room and house. I love seeing a whole span of someone's home, not only close ups (which have obsessed me of late).
Thanks Julie, I figured it was the template, but I love my blue one! I may break down though and get one that allows a wider pic.
