Last Sunday afternoon, a ton of middle school boys and their families marched and chanted through the Alexander's neighboorhood as they made way to their house to honor one of their favorite coaches, Bruce. George took shots for this moving event. (I was supposed to, but my back went out). They march back to the neighborhood club house and kid after kid shared what Bruce has meant to them. The recurring theme was "You didn't just teach us about how to play football. You taught us about how to live life."
Bruce sits in a hospital right now awaiting test results after experiencing much pain in the middle of the night two nights ago. They don't know if it is the result of his brain radiation or tumors from stage four melanoma. Please pray for him and his dear family.

Wow, what a turnout! This man has obviously had some serious influence. I hope the march lifted his spirits.
