I have been to airports all over the world, and I think that Portland's is one of the most beautiful. I love the light that streams through the skylights. We flew out of here on our way to Tucson. We listened to Latin rhythms while sipping Starbuck's and watching people. Love to watch people coming and going in airports.

170 - What Lewis and Clark Saw
Everytime I go through the Columbia Gorge, I am overwhelmed with the beauty of it all. Can you imagine the Corps of Discovery coming through all they came through to feast their eyes on this as they floated down the Columbia toward the Pacific Ocean?
See our route to Boise and Back that goes along the Willamette, Tualatin (From the book Moccasin Trail), Columbia, and Snake Rivers here. (It also includes our trip to the Boise Zoo)
169 - The Road Back from Boise
This church caught my eye when we stopped for dinner in The Dalles, Oregon.

117 - At the Sea with Carrie and Me
This is my official "Water Sample" from yet another Retreat destination. I have Greenville, SC river (can't remember the name) water and Mississippi River water photo, and now, I have Atlantic Ocean water to add to my growing collection!
117 - Claire
This is a delightful woman who has graced our presence at this LampPost Retreat at Topsail Island, North Carolina. She has not been with us for a full five years, and it is so great to see her again. (It isn't a cigar)
116 - Up, Up and Away
This is the view from the plane as I fly out of Portland, OR. This is the mighty Columbia River that Lewis and Clark came down on the Corps of Discovery!
