We were all excited to spy this four point buck in our backyard today. According to you Easterners, it is considered an eight point buck!
We just finished the seventh season of Monarch of the Glen, and this guy reminded me of "Big Eric"!

How did you get so close? Wow!
We have deer everywhere in Ohio and they are seen more as a pest. But up close, they still seem beautiful to me.
George had just put out all our apples on the ground (note the ground with apple). So, it was unintentional "bait" because he was preoccupied eating the apple. Also, this is THROUGH THE WINDOW that is up above and overlooks our yard. So, our physical presence didn't frighten him.
I should have said that George did it too. He is my guest photographer, and I forgot to annotate it as such. Silly me!
I love deer. I know they can be considered a pest in some cases (like Julie mentioned) but they are my favorite animal and always have been.
Btw, I'm glad you mentioned "Monarch of the Glen". I watched to first season after hearing you and 7of9 talk of it. I should reserve the second season now from the library and have that to look forward to during January!
I'm so glad you like Monarch. It really changes over the years, but I still liked it even to the end! The first three seasons are the best though!
