To the Summit
I had so many gorgeous pictures of wildflowers and butterflies, but I liked this for remembering our hike to the summit of Mary's Peak and the Meadow Ridge trail last night.

She's On Her Way!
George and I picked Jennifer up at 3:45 am this morning to take her to the airport so she could fly to her six week summer adventure in Southeast Asia! We are so excited for her!!!!!!
Celebration at Novak's
I've always wanted to go to breakfast at Novak's and dropping off Jennifer at the airport at 5:20 am afforded us the opportunity to go by Albany at 7 am, right when Novak's opened for breakfast.
This is "The European" - eggs, Kielbasz (Kielbasa in English) sausage, spaetzle pasta, green peppers, onions, and that BIG buttermilk buiscut (I only ate about 1/3 Katrina and Susanne. Aren't you proud?).
Topped it off with some Nuri Chai tea.
Paul's Creation
Paul was busy downstairs for most of the day, and he came up to show me the result. I think it is pretty good!
This will be an "artsy" summer as they are taking a video production class through Corvallis Community Television and a Realistic Drawing class through Linn-Benton Community College. Very fun.

Closet Closure
I couldn't sleep after the movie premiere. So, I worked past midnight at organizing my closet. One of my many projects for the summer!
Bravo Bethany!
What a tremendous achievement for this young woman. She wrote, directed, and produced the movie Road to Freedom.
Bravo Bethany!
Co-op Cohorts
Joe and Adam wore their costumes, but Michel did not want to wear his to the premiere.
How many forestry workers does it take . . .
George usually does the data analysis for the field work, but they asked him to come along this time.
Suite Upgrade!
George went to check into his hotel room for the research trip, and they said he was the "Guest of the Week"! They upgraded him to the jacuzzi suite with a really nice food basket!
I am so sad I wasn't with him!
