This girl was hiking in flip-flops on a difficult trail: no breakfast, no water, no food, and hot temperatures. She had heat stroke and her blood sugar had plummeted. She was cramping up and hysterical. I gave her my orange by wedges, watered her down, and spoke to her. Search and rescue came and we left. Seeabove for the rest of the story!
