Vern and Donna McDonald reserved a conference room at the Hilton Garden Inn so that Jan (who just had hip and arm surgery) and me could watch the civil war game in comfort without a ton of people there. It was fun and relaxing!

Hi, Carol! I just browsed through some pics to catch up on your life. What a strange sequence of events with the toe injury! Ouch! So sorry about that. I hope you had a blessed Christmas and are able to start the New Year off on the...right foot. (I couldn't resist! *smile*)
Isn't it amazing? The latest in the "Series of Unfortunate Events" has been that my back has been thrown into oblivion because of the inability to exercise and the height differential with the boot. So, I have been on my back since December 18th when it threw. I am happy to say I am sitting up today with a heating pad!

Oh, my good grief, Carol! It's one thing to choose to rest ~ and quite another to be forced to the sideline. I hope you're up and around soon. I'm doing fine. Trying to get back into the habit of regularly posting pics on my blog. The accountability was good for me when we all did the 365 project. On the other hand, I spend a lot less time at the computer than I used to, and that's a good thing, too. I am hoping this year to finally accomplish my BHAG of running a marathon. I planned to do one this past September but my body didn't cooperate. ;-D So we shall see!
